SPJH falls to Cadets 62-47

The South Putnam Junior High boys' track team fell to the Cascade Cadets Wednesday 62-47.

The Eagles were able to grab three wins on the night.

Lewis Knoy, Justin Bumgardner, Sawyer Arnold and Cain Dyson won the 400 meter relay in a time of 50.36, while the team of Knoy, Bumgardner, Dyson and Lucas Lorian teamed up to win the 1,600 meter relay in 4:14.06.

Ryan Chestnut was the lone field event winner, capturing the shot put with a distance of 43-feet-.5-inches.

South Putnam will travel to North Putnam with Northridge Monday at 4:30 p.m.
