Flory, Boswell lead Eagles past Panthers

MONTAZUMA -- With Josh Flory and Noah Boswell sending pitches over the fence, Riverton Parke didn't stand a chance.

Flory jacked a three-run homer and Boswell hit a two-run homer, and South Putnam defeated the Panthers 6-3.

Grant Zimmerman added South Putnam's last run with a sacrifice fly RBI.

Zimmerman also went the distance for the Eagles, fanning six Panthers while allowing three earned runs on four hits.

Cameron Chestnut also added another stolen base to his season collection.

South Putnam is now 12-5 on the season and is back in action on Monday when they host Greencastle at 5 p.m.
