Back to Back Challenge

Ladies from the Spinners Guild started work on making a sweater for the International Back to Back Challenge at 9:04 a.m. Saturday in front of the Putnam County Museum. In addition, the ladies were raising money for Leukemia research throughout the day.
Tori Gygi sheers Shiitake the sheep for the ladies of Spinners Guild to make a sweater. The goal is to turn wool from the back of a sheep into a sweater for the back of a person.

DePauw University student Elizabeth VanHook, front, is working on the front of a sweater while Denise Curtis of Morgantown works on the back, Mary VanHook creates one sleeve with Sarah Whitlock, not pictured, creating the other sleeve. The sweater is scheduled to be finished Tuesday.
