Marie Ella Wisener Swinford

Marie Ella Wisener Swinford, 78, of Crawfordsville and formerly of Greencastle died on Saturday, July 4, 2009.

She was born on Oct. 5, 1930 in Indianapolis to Kenneth and Esther Blair.

Surviving are her children, Linda Kay Smith of Plainfield, Paula Kay Wisener of Crawfordsville, Ken Wisener and wife Sarah of Waynetown and Marcia Nichols and husband Mitch of Fillmore; one sister, Donna Mae Hograve of Corydon; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Her parents, two brothers, and one sister preceded her in death.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, 4 Percy L. Julian Drive, with Pastor Frank Bunn and Larry Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Roachdale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
