Pauline Trump McAvoy

Pauline Trump McAvoy, 99, of Greencastle died Monday, Aug. 17, 2009 at Mill Pond Health Campus.

She was born on Aug. 4, 1910 in Putnam County, the daughter of Pearl Arthur and Louanna Eggers Trump. She married Brian McAvoy in 1939, and he preceded her in death in 1956.

Mrs. McAvoy had worked for Union Carbide in Speedway as a secretary for 25 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of the Coatesville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her sisters, Madge Greenlee of Greencastle, Mary A. Smith of Vevay, Juanita D. Paul of Plainfield and Esther A. Williams of Vevay; brothers Donald Trump of Greencastle and Carl Trump and wife Nola of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hays Funeral Home in Coatesville with the Rev. Dave Lang officiating. Burial will be in Coatesville Cemetery.

Calling will be at the funeral home Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
