Bruins handle Cougars in three sets

LIZTON -- North Putnam dropped a three set match to the Tri-West Tuesday night.

The Bruins won 25-8, 25-13 and 25-10.

"We have no confidence as a team," NPHS coach Jill Schreiber said. "We have not played enough with each other to have that confidence, but we are improving little by little each game."

Megan Robinson served up eight points and three kills for the Cougars, while Mackensy Asbell chipped in eight points and five blocks. Paxton Stephenson had six blocks and three kills while Carlye McGaughey had three kills. Megan Gray had eight assists.

North Putnam is back in action on Thursday when it hosts Turkey Run at 6 p.m.
