ELLETTSVILLE -- Tuesday was a disappointing day for Greencastle girls' golf head coach Brad Kingma. After seeing improvement in his squad their last time out, Kingma was displeased with Tuesday's outcome.

The Tiger Cubs fell to Edgewood 210-221.

"It was disappointing to shoot his poor after playing well in the last match," Kingma said. "There were just too many poor shoots.

"Chelsea (Samuels) had two balls out of bounds, Katie (Hedge) put a short wedge in water and Diane (Wokoun) struggled with consistent ball striking all night."

Despite her struggles, Samuels was able to capture medalist honors with her round of 47. Hedge was a close second with a 48, while Wokoun shot a 56 and Makenzie St. Marie a 70.

Greencastle will travel to Mooresville tonight to face the Quakers and Rockville at 4:30 p.m.
