Eagles place second in Clay City Invitational

CLAY CITY -- The South Putnam High School cross country teams traveled to Clay City for the annual Eel Invitational.

Both the boys' and girls' teams finished second in the invite.

The boys' team finished with 57 points, while the girls team finished with 35.

Leading the boys' team was Dylan Hayes, who finished fourth with a time of 19:17 ,while Paul Rubino came in seventh with a time of 19:42.

Leading the girls' team was Amanda Lund, who finished sixth with a time of 26:10, followed by Kaelynn Cox, who finished eighth with a time of 26:31.
