Cougars fall to Western Boone Tuesday

DANVILLE -- The North Putnam girls' golf squad fell to Western Boone 198-258 Tuesday.

Head coach Linda Patrick commented that the Cougars continued to improve. She noted that Emmy Rees shaved eight strokes off her score from the last meet. She also commented that Valerie Scott continued to shoot in the 50s and Josie Parent, Ellen Wilborn and Carlie Shearer stayed consistent with the scores.

The Lady Cougars will play at the County Tournament Thursday at Cloverdale beginning at 4:30 p.m.
