Nancy A. Jones

Nancy A. Bock Jones, 76, of Greencastle died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009 at her home.

She was born in Greencastle, May 5, 1933, the daughter of Ted and Lucille Snider Bock, who preceded her in death. She attended Greencastle and Clinton Center Elementary Schools and was a 1951 graduate of Bainbridge High School.

Nancy attended Brick Chapel United Methodist Church and worked at Marsh Supermarket for 19 years and at Tecno-Trim for 5 years.

Nancy is survived by two daughters, Julie A. Chew and husband Lee of Greencastle and Joyce C. Patten and husband Kevin of Cloverdale; one son, John E. Jones and wife Marcia of Crawfordsville; six grandsons; three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter; brothers Bill Bock and wife Geneva and Ted Bock; and sisters Betsy Adams and Susan Rumple.

She was also preceded in death by her son Jeffrey A. Jones in 1993.

Graveside funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Brick Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Miller officiating. There will be no calling. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.
