Sean Lee Barnhart, 32, of Cory died unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 20, 2009 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born March 18, 1977 in Vigo County, the son of Mark and Judy Plagge Barnhart. He graduated from Northview High School in 1996.

Growing up, he attended with his parents and was confirmed in the First United Church of Christ in Clay City. He worked at Lear Manufacturing, now known as IAC, in Greencastle for the past 13 years. He was enrolled at Ivy Tech in the nursing program. Just this past week, Sean and his dad took time to deer hunt together, a sport they both enjoyed.

On June 2, 2001, he married Jacqueline Frees Barnhart. They became members of the Carbon Baptist Church. Together they were raising their family and loving life. Sean was a loving son, brother, husband and daddy.

Survivors include his wife Jacque Barnhart; their children, Noah Barnhart, age 5, Noelle Barnhart, age 3, and baby Natalee Suzanne Barnhart is arriving in December; parents, Mark and Judy Barnhart of Brazil; sister, Robin Stapf (Larry) of DeWitt, Iowa and their children, Katie, Justin and Grace; grandmother Rose Mary Barnhart of Terre Haute; and extended family.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Erica Suzanne Barnhart.

Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at First United Church of Christ in Clay City with the Rev. Julie Western and Pastor Howard Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery. Calling will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lawson-Miller Chapel and again one hour prior to services at the church.

A trust fund for Sean's children has been formed at the First Financial Bank in Brazil. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at the church.
