Putnam County Jail

Adrian Fisher, 19, Fillmore, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 2:40 a.m. Thursday for public intoxication, operating a vehicle with a suspended license and possessing alcohol as a minor.

Robert Cale, 31, Rockville, was booked at 4 p.m. Friday for petition to revoke probation.

Shannon Thompson, 40, Greencastle, was booked at 4:29 p.m. Friday for violation of restraining order.

Mark Anthony Hernandez, 26, Greencastle, was booked at 10:04 p.m. Friday for neglect of dependent and domestic battery.

Michael Lawson, 29, Cloverdale, was booked at 1:52 a.m. Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and public intoxication.

Michelle Cline, 23, Ladoga, was booked at 3:15 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Austin Cox, 24, Greencastle, was booked at 3:47 a.m. Sunday for resisting law enforcement using a vehicle, public intoxication and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Kyle Bell, 20, Quincy, was booked at 4:40 a.m. Friday for possession of paraphernalia and marijuana.

Agate Barnett, 44, Indianapolis, was booked at 11 a.m. Tuesday for petition to revoke bond.

Sharissa Frost, 37, Indianapolis, was booked at 1:21 a.m. Tuesday for possession of paraphernalia and marijuana and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Melinda Alvarez, 21, Lafayette, was booked at 2:31 a.m. Tuesday for trespassing.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

James Means Jr., of Greencastle, was traveling south on US 231 at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, when he attempted to make a left turn onto the eastbound ramp of Interstate 70 and struck a vehicle driven by Evelyn Penley of Cloverdale.

The impact caused Penley's vehicle to leave the roadway and come to rest in the grass, while Means' vehicle spun around and came to rest in the northbound lane.

Steele's Wrecker Service towed both vehicles from the scene. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Debra Zigler of Fillmore was traveling on SR 240 at 7:42 a.m. Tuesday, when her vehicle struck a deer. Her vehicle was not towed and there was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to Hickory Creek at Sunset, 1109 S. Indiana St., at 10:22 a.m. Wednesday for a mulch fire. They were back in service at 10:44 a.m.
