Putnam County Jail

Tyler Vieke, 19, Greencastle, was booked at 12:09 a.m. Friday for possession of alcohol as a minor and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Andrew Birt, 19, Greencastle, was booked at 1:56 a.m. Friday for possession of alcohol as a minor, violation of probation and possession of marijuana.

Anthony Brown, 18, Greencastle, was booked at 2:14 a.m. Friday for possession of alcohol as a minor and possession of marijuana.

Stanley McBride, 57, Russellville, was booked at 2:33 a.m. Friday for operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol level of .08 or greater, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, public intoxication and operating a vehicle per se.

Ashley Tarry, 24, Martinsville, was booked at 3:06 a.m. Friday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Adam Spencer, 19, Greencastle, was booked at 3:48 a.m. Friday for possession of alcohol as a minor and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Robert Jones, 46, Bainbridge, was booked at 6:22 p.m. Friday for public intoxication and operating a vehicle per se and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

James Nolder, 48, Cloverdale, was booked at 8:41 p.m. Friday for violation of probation.

Cathy Smith, 48, Cloverdale, was booked at 8:59 p.m. Friday for violation of probation.

Nathan Rush, 28, Greencastle, was booked at 2:16 p.m. Saturday for possession of paraphernalia and marijuana, disorderly conduct and intimidation.

Scott Parker, 25, Greencastle, was booked at 4:08 p.m. Saturday for battery resulting in bodily injury.

Bernard Vansell of Center Point was traveling on Interstate 70W at 11:15 a.m. Dec. 27, when he lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions. His vehicle traveled over the embankment and into some trees.

Curtis Wrecker Service towed his vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Stacy Wilson of Greencastle was traveling south on SR 231 at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 24, when she lost control of her vehicle on Water Works Hill due to road conditions.

Seniour's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Caleb Wedemeyer of North Salem was traveling south on CR 425E near Roachdale at 12:39 p.m. Dec. 31, when his vehicle slid off the road due to icy road conditions. His vehicle struck a utility pole.

Wedemeyer was not injured in the accident. His vehicle was not towed. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 1124 Avenue D at 5:52 a.m. Saturday for a lift assist. They were back in service at 6:08 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to College Inn, 315 S. Bloomington St., at 12:06 p.m. Monday, but were disregarded en route. They were back in service at 12:14 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to Avenue B and 5th Street at 4:01 p.m. Monday for an automobile accident. There were minor injuries reported. They were back in service at 4:11 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to US 231 near Swifty Gas Station for an automobile accident with property damage. Crews cleaned up fluids and were back in service at 4:38 p.m.
