Putnam County Jail

Joseph Snow, 28, Indianapolis, was booked at 2:28 p.m. Thursday for petition to revoke probation.

Kristie Hughes, 22, Indianapolis, was booked at 2:48 p.m. Friday for theft, burglary and conspiracy.

Jack Taylor, 40, Poland, was booked at 2:28 a.m. Saturday for dangerous possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.

William Morrison Jr., 24, Cloverdale, was booked at 3:53 a.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, public intoxication and operating a vehicle per se.

Heather Turner, 26, Greencastle, was booked at 11:17 a.m. Saturday for conspiracy, theft and burglary.

Felicia Thomas, 25, Indianapolis, was booked at 11:31 a.m. Saturday for conspiracy, theft and burglary.

Daniel Hayes, 52, Danville, was booked at 9:28 p.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle after receiving a lifetime license suspension, operating a vehicle while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance.

James Hull, 45, Fillmore, was booked at 12:55 a.m. Sunday for battery against law enforcement, disorderly conduct, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, resisting law enforcement and public intoxication.

Hannah Weigel, 18, Greencastle, was booked at 1 a.m. Sunday for possession of alcohol as a minor.

Anthony Paul, 18, Greencastle, was booked at 1:32 a.m. Sunday for possession of alcohol as a minor.

Alex Gaston, 18, Greencastle, was booked at 1:48 a.m. Sunday for possession of alcohol as a minor.

Joaquin Freire, 18, Greencastle, was booked at 1:58 a.m. Sunday for possession of alcohol as a minor.

Christopher Clements, 19, Terre Haute, was booked at 2:10 a.m. Sunday for possession of alcohol as minor.

Douglas Sharpee Jr., 18, Cloverdale, was booked at 2:39 a.m. Sunday for possession of alcohol as a minor.

Rena Alexander, 44, Greencastle, was booked at 2:39 a.m. Sunday for possession of marijuana, neglect of a dependent and furnishing alcohol to a minor.

Junstina Brickley, 35, Cloverdale, was booked at 3:19 a.m. Sunday for battery.

Amanda Routh, 28, Cloverdale, was booked at 5:02 a.m. Sunday for battery.

Dustin Weddle, 26, Poland, was booked at 10:58 a.m. Monday for check fraud and theft.

Kevin McCloud, 24, Staunton, was booked at 12:57 a.m. Tuesday for possession of marijuana.

Adam Hill, 21, Greencastle, was booked at 3:24 a.m. Tuesday for possession of paraphernalia and marijuana over 30 grams, dealing in marijuana over 30 grams, maintaining a common nuisance and theft and furnishing alcohol to a minor(s).

Brian Walda, 33, New Castle, was booked at 12:12 p.m. Tuesday for petition to revoke probation.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Bonnie Berry of Greencastle was traveling east on US 40 near Putnamville at 6:55 a.m. Jan. 7, when she lost control of her vehicle due to snow-covered roads. Her vehicle slid across the grass median and both westbound lanes before striking a ditch, small trees and a highway sign. It came to rest against a row of trees.

Berry complained of pain to her face and neck and was transported by Operation Life to Putnam County Hospital. Steele's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

James Gaskins of Bainbridge was traveling east on CR 800N at 4:30 a.m. Jan. 7 when he swerved to avoid a deer and slid into a ditch. His vehicle was not towed. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Bradley Dycus of Indianapolis was traveling east on US 36 near Bainbridge at 6:39 p.m. Jan. 5, when his vehicle struck a deer. Mike's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Troy Stearly of Bainbridge was traveling south on CR 700E near Groveland at 5:59 p.m. Jan. 5 when his vehicle struck a deer. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Ernest Duncan of Roachdale was traveling south on US 231 at 6:10 a.m. Jan. 11, when he crossed the intersection of US 40 and 231 behind a semi causing him to not notice the light had turned red.

Duncan's vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Kendall Campbell of Brazil, which was traveling on west on 40. Steeles' Wrecker Service towed Campbell's vehicle while Duncan's vehicle was not towed from the scene.

There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Amy Jones of Terre Haute was traveling west on Interstate 70 at 4:18 a.m. Jan. 3, when she "looked down to check a text message" and ran off the road, the accident report stated. Her vehicle struck the end of a guardrail and continued into the median where it came to rest.

Steeles' Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Stephanie Jonte of Cloverdale was traveling on US 231N at 4:15 a.m. Jan. 9, when her vehicle struck a deer. There was an estimated $750 to $1,000 in damages.

Michael Henry of Greencastle was traveling on US 36E near Bainbridge at 11:15 a.m. Jan. 8, when his vehicle struck a deer. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Vanessa Ganahl of Indianapolis was traveling east on US 40 near Mount Meridian at 3:46 a.m. Jan. 8, when she lost control of her vehicle and went into a spin. Her vehicle then struck two parked vehicles and an apartment building.

Ganahl stated in the accident report she didn't know what caused her to lose control of the vehicle. It was towed from the scene and there was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Douglas Cox of Greencastle was patrolling DePauw University Nature Park at 9:10 a.m. Jan. 8, when his vehicle slid on the ice and struck a gate. There was an estimated $750 to $1,000 in damages.

Jonathon Morales of Avon was traveling west on Interstate 70 at 7:28 a.m. Jan. 8, when he lost control of his vehicle due to snow and ice on the road. His vehicle traveled across the median and eastbound lanes, struck an embankment head on and came to rest in a row of trees.

Morales was trapped inside his vehicle until a fireman from Terre Haute passed by the accident and stopped to help him. Morales was transported by Operation Life to Putnam County Hospital for treatment of lacerations to his head and face and shoulder pain.

Cloverdale Fire Department also assisted at the scene. Discount Tire towed the vehicle and there was an estimated $10,001 to $25,000 in damages.

Tam Do of Indianapolis was traveling west on SR 240 near Greencastle at 3:09 p.m. Dec. 27, when he lost control of his vehicle due to snow and ice on the roads. His vehicle struck a power pole head on.

Jerry's Wrecker Service pulled Do's vehicle from the ditch. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Tyler Adams of Greencastle was traveling south on CR 525E near Fillmore at 4:48 p.m. Dec. 31, when he couldn't slow his vehicle for a 90-degree turn. His vehicle left the road and struck a tree head on.

The accident reported stated his "speed was too fast for the type of roadway."

There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Laura Sharp of Greencastle and Nicole Dixon of Greencastle were traveling east on US 36 near Bainbridge at 7:40 a.m. Monday, when both vehicles entered an intersection covered with snow and ice. Sharp was unable to slow her vehicle enough to avoid colliding with Dixon's vehicle.

Neither vehicle was towed from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 805 Crescent Drive at 1:03 a.m. Friday for a lift assist. They were back in service at 1:10 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 732 Ravenwood Drive at 8:05 p.m. Friday for a medical assist. They were back in service at 8:29 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 191 N. US 231 at 4:38 p.m. Saturday for a medical assist. They were back in service at 5:07 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 208 E. Olive St. at 7:27 p.m. Saturday for a fire alarm. They were back in service at 7:46 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 612 Apple St. at 8:06 a.m. Sunday for a medical assist. They were back in service at 8:10 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 916 College Ave. at 9:04 p.m. Monday for a fire alarm. They were disregarded before leaving the station and back in service at 9:07 p.m.

Crews assisted the police at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday. They were back in service at 3:35 a.m.
