All county schools dismissing early

All Putnam County schools will be dismissing students early today.

Elementary schools in the Greencastle Community Schools Corp. will dismiss students at 12:50 p.m. Students at Greencastle High School and Middle School will be released at 1:10 p.m.

All athletic events that were originally scheduled for tonight for Greencastle High School teams took place Thursday.

Students at Fillmore and Reelsville elementary schools will be dismissed at 12:20 p.m., while students at Central Elementary will be dismissed at 12:50 p.m. Classes at South Putnam Junior-Senior High School will be dismissed at 1:08 p.m.

All South Putnam High School sporting events scheduled for this evening have been canceled, as has the freshman tournament that was scheduled for Saturday.

Students at Cloverdale Elementary and Middle schools will be dismissed at 1 p.m., while students at Cloverdale High School will be released at 1:15 p.m. All athletic events for Cloverdale High School teams scheduled for tonight and Saturday have been canceled.

Elementary schools in the North Putnam district will dismiss students at 12:50 p.m. North Putnam High School students will be dismissed at 1:15 p.m.

All North Putnam athletic events scheduled for this evening have been canceled.

Additionally, Saturday's Mooresville wrestling regional will have a delayed start, with weigh-in at 10:30 a.m. and the wrestling to start at noon.

At the Crawfordsville girls' swimming sectional, diving will start at noon, with a 3 p.m. start for swimming events.
