Putnam County Jail

Aaron M. Jarrell, 19, Brazil, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 10:24 a.m. Friday for petition to revoke probation.

Derrek S. Chumney, 24, Greenfield, was booked at 3:14 p.m. Friday for petition to revoke probation.

Kristopher M. Hardy, 27, Greencastle, was booked at 3:51 p.m. Friday for battery and attempted theft.

Donald A. Pearson, 45, Greencastle, was booked at 11:52 p.m. Friday for public intoxication, operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating per se.

Matt R. Taylor, 24, Greencastle, was booked at 4:18 a.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Todd Thomas-Zane Marsee, 44, Coatesville, was booked at 7:32 p.m. Saturday for violation of home detention.

James Hammond, 33, Freedom, was booked at 12:31 a.m. Sunday for violation of home detention.

Joshua L. Stigall, 23, Bainbridge, was booked at 3:34 a.m. Sunday for trespassing and battery.

Brandi Jo Stearley, 31, Reeslville, was booked at 10:55 a.m. Sunday for failure to appear.

Richard A. Knight, 18, Lebanon, was booked at 1:24 a.m. Monday for theft.

Amanda L. Lowe, 28, Greencastle, was booked at 3:16 a.m. Monday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

James A. Lewis, 31, Brownsburg, was booked at 2:33 a.m. Tuesday for petition to revoke probation.

Russell D. Henn, 40, Michigan Center, Mich., was booked at 8:59 a.m. Tuesday for petition to revoke bond.

Shawn M. Shipp, 38, Indianapolis, was booked at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday for non-support of a child.

Erica K. Thompson, 32, Coatesville, was booked at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday for failure to appear.

Christopher D. Sanford, 42, Greencastle, was booked at 10:07 p.m. Tuesday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Gary L. Evans, 47, Greencastle, was booked at 4:02 a.m. Wednesday for operating a vehicle after a lifetime suspension and violation of probation.

Donald M. Mulkern, 46, Louisville, Ky., was booked at 11:26 a.m. Wednesday for violation of probation.

Jennifer M. Close, 34, Greencastle, was booked at 8:21 p.m. Wednesday for fraud and theft.

Ryan L. Davis, 19, Mooresville, was booked at 9:20 a.m. Thursday for possessing alcohol as a minor.

Justin M. Rinehart, 19, Plainfield, was booked at 9:51 a.m. Thursday for possessing alcohol as a minor.

David W. Benassi, 47, Fillmore, was booked at 10:21 a.m. Thursday for failure to appear.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Richard L. Martin of Greencastle was traveling north on US 231 near Cloverdale at 7:10 p.m. Monday when his vehicle struck a deer.

His vehicle was not towed. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Dustin Burris of Greencastle was traveling north on US 231 near Cloverdale at 8:12 p.m. Monday when his vehicle struck a deer.

Jerry's Wrecker Service towed his vehicle. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Thomas R. Heron of Roachdale was traveling south on CR 725 near Groveland at 11:30 p.m. Saturday when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a guardrail.

Curtis' Wrecker Service towed his vehicle. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Barbara F. McCammack of Cloverdale was traveling north on SR 231 near Cloverdale when her vehicle stuck a deer.

Her vehicle was not towed. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Jonathon R. Boyer of Brazil was traveling south on US 231 near Greencastle at 7:25 a.m. Saturday, when he rounded a curve and his tires began to slide on the icy roadway. After his vehicle spun 360 degrees, it came to rest in a ditch.

Boyer was still in his vehicle when a vehicle driven by Jeremy J. Eberhard of Arlington Heights, Ill., rounded the same curve and lost control. Eberhard's vehicle struck the front of Boyer's vehicle, which was still in the ditch.

Jerry's Wrecker Service towed Boyer's vehicle from the ditch. There was less than $750 estimated in damages. Discount Tire Wrecker Service towed Eberhard's vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Fuya Gong of Greencastle was traveling south on CR 375W near Limedale at 9:10 a.m. Saturday, when he lost control of his vehicle on a curve due to ice on the roadway. His vehicle "struck several items" off the road, according to the accident report.

Steele's Wrecker Service towed his vehicle. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Jennifer A. Lohmeier of Brownsburg was traveling east on CR 550E near Mount Meridian at 1:27 p.m. Saturday when her vehicle slid through a stop sign and struck the side of a vehicle driven by Ranetta J. Scobee of Reelsville.

Belle Union Wrecker Service towed Scobee's vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Jonathan B. Welch of Greencastle was traveling south on US 231 near Cloverdale at 5:17 a.m. Friday, when his vehicle struck a deer.

His vehicle was not towed. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Brook A. Henderson of Greencastle was traveling north on CR 300W at 1:44 a.m. Sunday, when he lost control of his vehicle on a curve due to icy roadway and struck a mailbox.

The accident report stated Henderson notified the owner of the mailbox and he will repair or replace it.

Greencastle Police Department

Andrew Dober, 22, Cincinnati, Ohio, was traveling east on Franklin Street at 3:28 p.m. Feb. 5, when he lost control of his vehicle due to "extremely icy and snow-covered roadways," the accident report stated. His vehicle then crashed into a ditch and tree.

Jerry's Wrecker Service towed his vehicle. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Kevin Sullivan, 39, Greencastle, was traveling south on Arlington Street at 6:12 p.m. Feb. 5, when he lost control of his vehicle due to "extremely slick and icy roadways," the accident report stated. His vehicle then struck a utility pole.

Jerry's Wrecker Service towed his vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Spencer Moore, 16, Greencastle, was pulling into his driveway on Hillsdale Avenue at 2:34 p.m. Feb. 10, when he backed his vehicle into the roadway and struck a vehicle driven by Joshua Phelps of Greencastle.

There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Neva Vermillion, 68, Greencastle, was traveling on Percy Julian Drive at 8:40 a.m. Feb. 12 when a vehicle driven by Jeretta Reynolds, 55, of Greencastle, struck the back of her vehicle.

There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Tyler Hopkins, 17, Greencastle, was traveling on Avenue B near 5th Street at 8:30 p.m. Feb. 16, when he was unable to stop to make a left turn due to icy road conditions. He vehicle struck a fire hydrant.

Jerry's Wrecker Service removed the vehicle from a resident's yard. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Arthur Zickman, 68, Coatesville, was driving a 2009 Lincoln registered to Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home on Washington Street near Durham Street at 3:08 p.m. Feb. 17, when he attempted to avoid a collision with another vehicle, but struck a utility pole.

Zickman complained of neck pain and was transported by Operation Life to Putnam County Hospital. Seniour's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

* Michael W. Davis, 21, Cloverdale, was stopped on Anderson Street near Bloomington Street at midnight Feb. 3 and cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended license, infraction.

* Danielle Williamson, 22, Greencastle, was stopped on E. Washington Street near Spring Street at 1:25 p.m. Feb. 3 and cited for expired license plate and operating a vehicle without insurance.

* Barbara Bowen, 82, Fillmore, was stopped on Fillmore Road at 3:53 p.m. Feb. 3 and cited for speeding -- 50 mph in a 30 mph zone.

* David Morgan, 19, Muncie, was stopped on Veteran's Memorial Highway and S. Bloomington Street at 10:30 p.m. Feb. 3 and cited for disregarding an automatic signal.

* Alan Sparks, 49, Greencastle, was stopped at Madison and Columbia streets at 12:49 p.m. Feb. 7 and cited for unreasonable speed and disregarding stop sign.

* Charles Tincher, 24, Greencastle, was stopped at SR 240E at 10:41 p.m. Feb. 7 and cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended license, infraction.

* James Auberry, 21, Brazil, was stopped at 8:40 p.m. Feb. 8 on S. Bloomington Street and cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

* Andrew Brothers, 23, Cloverdale, was stopped at 1:05 p.m. Feb. 12 on Shadowlawn Avenue and cited for speeding -- 34 mph in a 20 mph zone.

* Kenny Kennedy, 48, Greencastle, was stopped at 1:20 p.m. Feb. 12 on Shadowlawn Avenue and cited for a seatbelt violation.

* Jeffrey Lawler, 34, Coatesville, was stopped at 2:05 p.m. Feb. 12 on Indianapolis Road and cited for a seatbelt violation.

* James Blankenship, 23, Poland, was stopped at 3:08 a.m. Feb. 13 on E. Washington Street and cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

* Brandon Wagner, 20, Greencastle, was stopped at 11:38 a.m. Feb. 13 on Shadowlawn and Greenwood avenues and cited for speeding -- 45 mph in a 30 mph zone.

* Matthew Barnett, 27, Bainbridge, was stopped at 4:55 p.m. Feb. 18 on Shadowlawn Avenue and cited for speeding -- 37 mph in a 20 mph zone.

* Patrick Richardson, 18, Greencastle, was stopped at 10:02 p.m. Feb. 25 on Ballard Lane and SR 240E and cited for disregarding a stop sign.

* Taleeb Latif, 47, College Park, Ga., was stopped at 10th Street and cited for an illegal U-turn.

* Jorie Moss of Oldenburg was stopped at 4:30 p.m. Saturday on Veteran's Memorial Highway and cited for speeding -- 60 mph in a 40 mph zone.

* Randy Salman, 58, Greencastle, was stopped at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on Roundbarn Road and cited for speeding -- 45 mph in a 30 mph zone.

* Rachel Billings, 21, Brazil, was stopped at 11:20 p.m. Tuesday on Shadowlawn Avenue and cited for expired license plate.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 106 S. Spring St. at 6:40 p.m. Thursday for an alarm, but were canceled en route. They were back in service at 6:45 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 483 E. Ridgeland Road at 8:33 a.m. Friday for a medical assist. They were back in service at 8:51 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 208 E. Olive St. at 12:23 p.m. Saturday for detector activation. They were back in service at 12:36 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 330 Greenwood Ave. at 2:40 p.m. Saturday for detector activation. They were back in service at 2:55 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 407 S. Jackson St. at 6:23 p.m. Saturday, but were disregarding before leaving the station. They were back in service at 6:25 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 333 S. 10th St. at 10:24 a.m. Sunday for an alarm. They were canceled en route and were back in service at 10:27 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 402 W. Washington St. at 1:22 p.m. Sunday for a medical assist. They were back in service at 1:33 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 642 E. Walnut St. at 8:07 p.m. Sunday for a carbon monoxide investigation. They were back in service at 8:40 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 12 N. Jackson St. at 10:06 a.m. Monday for a smoke scare. They were back in service at 11:23 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 802 E. Washington St. at 10:12 a.m. Monday for an accident. They were back in service at 10:20 a.m.
