Third Annual Big Dog Ride slated for June 5

TERRE HAUTE -- The American Maintrailing Academy is sponsoring the Third Annual Big Dog motorcycle ride on June 5. Proceeds from the event go to training and education of search and rescue K9 teams across America.

Cost to participate is $25 for individuals and $30 for couples. This includes food, cold drinks, entertainment and a poker hand. There is also a 50/50 drawing planned and a Marlin Model 1894 ".44 Mag" rifle will be raffled off. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20.

The ride begins in Terre Haute at noon and will end at Quarry Lake in Putnam County. More than 100 miles will be ridden including Brazil, Greencastle, Martinsville and Terre Haute.

Tee shirts are available for $13 at the Academy's Web site at www.americanmantrailing.com. Orders must be in by May 5 to ensure delivery for the ride.
