Putnam County Jail

Jason M. Young, 21, Brazil, was booked at 7:58 p.m. Tuesday for non-support of a child.

Christopher P. Stapert, 23, Patricksburg, was booked at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday for writ of body attachment, resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct and intimidation.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Erika L. Collins of Greencastle was traveling north on US 231 at 11:57 a.m. Monday, when her vehicle struck the back of a vehicle driven by Angela R. Berry of Cloverdale, which was waiting to make a left turn onto CR 25S.

Seniour's Wrecker Service towed both vehicles from the scene. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to SAE house, 509 S. Locust St., at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday for a fire inside the kitchen. They were back in service at 5:19 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to Warren Drive and Veteran's Memorial Highway at 5:27 p.m. Tuesday for a piece of cardboard on fire in the middle of the road. They were back in service at 5:36 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 503 E. Hanna St. at 8:59 a.m. Wednesday for a gas leak. They were back in service at 9:34 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 701 N. Jackson St. at 11:59 a.m. Wednesday for a medical assist. They were back in service at 12:09 p.m.
