Putnam County Jail

Anthony L. Anderson, 47, Cloverdale, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 11:30 a.m. Saturday for theft and criminal trespassing.

David H. Brownfield, 27, Greencastle, was booked at 11:30 a.m. Friday for burglary, theft and possession of paraphernalia.

Lavetra D. Davenport, 36, Indianapolis, was booked at 12:21 a.m. Monday for failure to appear.

Karen L. Escott, 54, Brazil, was booked at 4:45 a.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Jeremy L. Fecht, 20, no city listed, was booked at 4 p.m. Saturday for public intoxication and minor consumption of alcohol.

Justin J. Gregory, 30, West Point, was booked at 11:59 p.m. Saturday for criminal recklessness.

Selma Haveric, 19, Champaign, Ill., was booked at 2:30 a.m. Saturday for resisting law enforcement and minor consumption of alcohol.

Christopher J. Mahnken, 23, no city listed, was booked at 2:50 a.m. Saturday for battery.

Michael T. Mattli, 21, Greencastle, was booked at 7 p.m. Friday for battery.

Hope M. McCombs, 28, Indianapolis, was booked at 10:13 a.m. Monday for probation violation.

Jessika L. O'Hair, 23, Coatesville, was booked at 5:30 a.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Samuel R. Ronalds, 19, Wilmette, Ill., was booked at 4:30 p.m. Saturday for public intoxication and minor consumption of alcohol.

Ryan J. Shepherd, 37, no city listed, was booked at 9:18 a.m. Friday for public intoxication.

Gordon B. Sims, 51, no city listed, was booked at 8:55 p.m. Saturday for probation violation.

Richard A. Sims, 58, no city listed, was booked at 11:24 p.m. Saturday for battery resulting in bodily injury and parole violation.

Patrick Smith, 26, Bainbridge, was booked at 3:05 a.m. Saturday for public intoxication.

Charles L. Spiker, 30, no city listed, was booked at 7:59 p.m. Sunday on a local warrant for theft and check forgery.

James A. Stone, 21, Greencastle, was booked at 4 a.m. Saturday for battery.

Jacob W. Stracham, 20, Camby, was booked at 1:49 a.m. Monday for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

Raymond A. Strange, 30, Danville, was booked at 6:44 p.m. Friday for operating a vehicle with suspended license.

Kyna R. Swails, 26, Indianapolis, was booked at 9:30 a.m. Monday for probation violation.

Craig A. Bell, 33, Waveland, was booked at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday for contempt of court.

Ann Bullerdick, 40, no city listed, was booked at 4:18 p.m. Monday for theft.

James L. Cobble, 51, Worthington, was booked at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday for probation violation.

Lavetra D. Davenport, 36, Indianapolis, was booked at 12:21 p.m. Monday for failure to appear.

Susan Ewing, 53, Greencastle, was booked at 8:33 p.m. Monday for disorderly conduct.

Randall J. Huff, 42, Greencastle, was booked at 10:26 a.m. Tuesday for public intoxication and violation of probation.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Joseph L. Hayden of Monrovia was traveling east on CR 700S near Cloverdale approximately 40 mph on his 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle, when the bike struck a chuckhole, causing him to lose control. The bike continued to travel 35 feet before striking a second chuckhole and causing Hayden to lay the bike down on its side. Hayden and his passenger, Nan Hayden, were ejected from the bike and came to rest in a ditch not far from the bike.

The accident occurred at 6:35 p.m. Sunday. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Wanda Sutton of Cloverdale was traveling west on the parking lot of South Putnam High School at 6:20 p.m. Saturday, when her vehicle struck the trailer hitch of a parked vehicle belonging to Charles E. Musgrave of Stilesville.

There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages. .

Cheryl D. Meyers of Bowling Green was traveling south on US 231 near Cloverdale at 1:48 p.m. Thursday and had slowed for a vehicle making a left turn onto Crosswinds Street, when a vehicle driven by Rosalie E. Kean of Cloverdale struck the back of her vehicle. As a result, a vehicle driven by Christopher R. Skojac of Quincy struck the back of Kean's vehicle.

Cloverdale Fire Department and Operation Life assisted at the scene. Curtis Wrecker Service towed Skojac's and Kean's vehicles. There was an estimated $10,001 to $25,000 in damages.

Linda J. Nowling of Greencastle was traveling on US 231 near Cloverdale at 5:23 p.m. Friday, when her vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Ronald G. Palmer of Cloverdale. Nowling stated she wasn't paying attention and struck the back of Palmer's vehicle.

There was an estimated $750 to $1,000 in damages.

Robert S. O'Connor of Roachdale was traveling north on US 231 near Fincastle at 10 a.m. Monday, when his vehicle struck a deer.

There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 208 E. Olive St. at 1:45 a.m. Monday for an active alarm, but nothing was found. They were back in service at 1:58 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 301 E. Seminary St. at 2:08 p.m. Monday for an alarm, but nothing was found. They were back in service at 2:11 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 109 W. Hanna St. at 8:18 p.m. Monday for an alarm, but were disregarded en route. They were back in service at 8:22 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 505 S. Jackson St. at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday for a detector activation due to cooking. They were back in service at 1:47 p.m.
