Kathy Ann Sutherlin

Kathy Ann Sutherlin, 59, of Greencastle passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010 evening at Hickory Creek at Sunset in Greencastle.

Kathy was born October 26, 1950 in Greencastle, the daughter of Emmett George Sutherlin and Mary Lucille Morgan Sutherlin. She was previously employed as a bartender in Putnam County.

Kathy was a member of the Greencastle Women of the Moose and a board member of the Putnam County Housing Authority. She was a 1968 graduate of Reelsville High School and had received a degree in Business Administration.

She is survived by daughters Kassidy Sutherlin and Janet Jayne of Greencastle; grandson Kristopher Michael "Critter" Wasnidge; sisters Wilma Holsapple (Robert) of Cloverdale, Beverly Trumbo (Robert) of Greencastle, Sue Lucas (David) of Clay City, Joyce Hutcheson of Greencastle, Sheila O'Brien (James) of Mt. Meridian, Brenda Gibbs of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Shirley Sutherlin of Cloverdale, and Corky Meagher of Cloverdale; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ray Sutherlin; and a sister, LaVonna Mae Sutherlin.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle. Burial will be in the Deer Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
