CHARLOTTE -- Cloverdale grad Chad Collins did something the world's most known golfer Tiger Woods couldn't do -- play the weekend at the Ouail Hollow Championship. Collins finished the tournament tied for 29th with a one-under par 287.

After firing a two-over 74 to open the tournament, Collins rebounded a shot a two-under 70 Friday and Saturday. In the final day of the tournament, Collins shot a one-over 73 to finish at one-under.

For the tournament, he recorded 16 birdies, 42 pars, 13 bogies and one double bogey. Collins has made 10-of-12 cuts this season and currently ranks 56th on the money list.

Collins' best finish is a tie for fourth at the Mayakoba Golf Classic where he carded a 12-under par for the tournament. He had three Top 10 and five Top 25 finishes in the 2010 season.
