Happy 1st Birthday

Monday, May 17, 2010
Putnam County Hospital hosted a special one-year birthday party for its 204 babies born in 2009. Local businesses, such as Putnam County Family Support Services, Headstart, Johnson-Nicols, Putnam County Tobacco Prevention Cessation, Greencastle Police Department and Putnam County Humane Society were on hand with fun games and helpful literature for parents. PCH plans to hold a one-year bash for all its babies born at the hospital. Above, Kailyn McCoy enjoys playing with Nala, who was brought by the Putnam County Humane Society, as part of Putnam County Hospital's baby birthday party Saturday. Sixteen-month-old Kailyn was the first girl of the year. Refreshments, goodie bags and three Walmart gift cards were handed out by PCH.
