Phyllis J. Bailey

Phyllis J. Bailey, 85, Sheridan, died Friday, May 28, 2010 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.

She was born Dec. 29, 1924 in Grant County to the late Glen A. and Edna (Littrick) Davis.

She was a graduate of Marion High School and married Marvin Bailey April 5, 1947.

Mrs. Bailey was a homemaker and member of Terhune United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband Marvin; sons Jack V. (Margaret) Bailey of Sheridan and Roger D. (Becky) Bailey of Fillmore; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Her brothers Richard and Rex Davis and sister Barbara Heavlin preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Terhune United Methodist Church with the Rev. Frank Ciampa officiating. Burial will be in Crown View Cemetery in Sheridan.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kercheval Funeral Home in Sheridan.
