12th annual Purdue Open is June 23

GREENCASTLE -- The twelfth annual Purdue Open Golf Scramble, hosted by the Purdue Club of Putnam County, will be played June 23 at Old Hickory Golf Course.

Purdue guests for both the scramble and the dinner following include Women's Head Basketball Coach Sharon Versyp, Assistant Football Coach Lou Anarumo, Gold & Black Illustrated Sportswriter Kyle Charters and Purdue Alumni Association Director of Young Alumni Programs Brandi Nichols Farrer.

Registration will begin at 11 a.m., followed by lunch at 11:30. The scramble will begin with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.

After the scramble, a dinner will take place at Autumn Glen at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited for both golf and the dinner.

The cost for golf and lunch is $50 per person, or $200 for a team, and dinner will cost $20 per person. Gold hole sponsorships are available for $100 and black hole sponsorships for $50.

Proceeds from this annual event benefit the Purdue Club's scholarship fund with the Putnam County Community Foundation.
