Leon O. Huber, 90, of Plainfield passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2010 in Plainfield Healthcare Center.

He was born on April 8, 1920 in Owen County to Frank O. and Nellie Mae Graves Huber. He married Lucille F. Chiles, and she survives.

He was a welder for 30 years for Premier Manufacturing and retired from IUPUI Facilities Department. Leon was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife Lucille Huber; daughters Janet J. Trueblood and Karen S. Crawford; brother Floyd Huber; sisters Beatrice O'Connor and Helen Williams; grandchildren Teresa Price, Jennifer Hoots and John Steele; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Kenneth, Richard and Melvin Huber and a granddaughter, Rebecca Crawford.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home Plainfield with funeral services at 1 p.m. with Brother Wayne Baker Officiating. Burial with Military rites will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
