Richard Lathrop

Richard Matthew Lathrop 60, of Bainbridge passed away at his residence on Friday.

His parents were Vitus Matthew Clemens and Suzy Mae Clements Clemens.

He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a custodian at the Bainbridge Elementary School.

He married Patty Sue Benge on July 15, 1973 at Greencastle and she survives.

Other survivors include a son Brian (Leslie) Lathrop of Roachdale, a daughter Mindy (Tony) Phipps of Greencastle, two grandsons William and Dakota Lathrop, two brothers Jack (Janet) Clemens of Crawfordsville, Vitus Clemens Jr. of Greencastle, three sisters Barb Davis of Roachdale, Rose (Dave) Davis of Roachdale, Linda (Bob) Young of Lebanon.

He was preceded by his parents.

Graveside services are planned for Monday at Barnard Cemetery at Barnard at noon.

Visitation will be at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home at 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale from 10 to ll:45 a.m. Monday.

Burial will be in Barnard Cemetery.
