Fred Wayne Nichols

Fred Wayne Nichols, 42, Belle Union, passed away on Aug. 17, 2010.

He was born on Jan. 6, 1968 in Martinsville and was the son of Patricia Faye Nichols.

He was a truck driver, member of the Teamsters and the Eminence Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Faye Nichols of Belle Union; his son Fred Wayne Nichols II of Belle Union; his uncles Randy Nichols and wife Donna of Belle Union and Robert Nichols and wife Linda of Belle Union.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Alonzo Kendall and Mary E. Nichols.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fred Wayne Nichols II Education Fund, care of the family.
