Michael A. "Simpy" Simpson, 47, of Indianapolis passed away Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010 at Community South Hospital.

He was born in Indianapolis on April 26, 1963, the son of Albert and Maureen A. (Mickle) Simpson.

He graduated from South Putnam High School in 1981. He was a member of the South Putnam High School marching band. He was a salesman at Brickyard International and Truck Parts Specialist.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Connie (Sizemore, Cole) Simpson; his parents Albert and Maureen A. Simpson; brother Scott (Diane) Simpson; stepsisters Cindy (John) Young; Pamela (Mike) Bowman; Cathy (George) Miller; aunt Laura (Keith) Fulbright; uncles Larry Mickle and Pete (Judy) Mickle; brother-in-law Michael Sizemore and family; sister-in-law Judy Sizemore; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by stepsister Wendy Simpson, grandparents Lloyd and Mildred Mickle and L.M. and Winnie Mae Bell.

He will be sadly missed by everyone. In his memory a brief memorial service was held. There will be no services.
