Mommy and Me program kicks off on Sept. 8

GREENCASTLE -- Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting registrations for the fall session of its Mommy and Me program.

This will be a chance for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their caregivers to make friends, play together, do crafts, listen to stories, learn new skills, and to relax with others.

The first two meetings will be at Shelter No. 5 at Robe-Ann Park. After that, sessions will move between the Putnam County Public Library and the Putnam County Museum.

Registration forms will be available at Greencastle City Hall, Bright Futures, Dr. John Hennette's office, the Putnam County Public Library and the Putnam County Museum.

Pre-registration is requested, but not required.

Sessions will run each Wednesday from Sept. 8 to Oct. 13 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Cost is $25 per youth for the six-week session.

Daycare groups are welcome.
