CLOVERDALE -- Endeavor Communications is having a Fun Fest to celebrate its 60th anniversary this Saturday in Cloverdale.

The festival will take place between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. and is free to the endeavor members.

Sarah Trammell, Endeavor's public relations coordinator, said the event is a way to celebrate with and give back to the community.

"We just want to talk to our members and let them know that we've been in the community for 60 years," Trammell said. "We wanted to have a good time and show people that we appreciate their support."

Trammell said there would be a variety of activities and free food.

"We're going to have building tours," she said. "We're going to have inflatable bounce houses. We're going to have free hot dogs, cotton candy and snow cones."

Trammell said the headquarters tour would involve a demonstration of the company's switch to fiber-optic cables. She also said there would be some prizes given away.

"We're going to be giving away a 37-inch flat screen TV, a Dell Netbook, a Tom Tom GPS system and some other stuff," Trammell said.

The event is at Endeavor's business office at 2 S. West St. in Cloverdale. Their offices are off of Market Street, one block west of U.S. 231.
