Riding for Willie

Friday, September 17, 2010
Sunday's Willie 4 Ride attracted 28 riders and raised $702 for the Emergency Food Pantry. Pictured from left to right are Willie's mother Mary Bartley, Gold Club President Dave Sutherlin, Frances Washburne of the Emergency Food Pantry and Gold Club Vice President Aaron Stout. "Thank you to Judy (Miller) for the food, Taylor Made for the decals and all Gold Club members for making it all happen," Sutherlin said. "And Mary, of course. We hope to see you all next year." • It is nice to see some good come from the tragedy. Nice to see the Gold Club working on a more positive image. Hopefully bike safety is promoted in view of that tragedy.
