American Red Cross program is Tuesday

Washburn Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Autumn Glen.

The program will be on the American Red Cross. Hostess will be Marilyn Clearwaters.

Woodlands among Tuesday speaker topics

Thomas O. Swinford, regional ecologist with the Central Indiana office of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, will present "Woodland, Wetland, Stream and Prairie: Natural Areas of the Mid-Wabash," on from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Putnam County Public Library.

Screenings planned for Wednesday

Old National Trail will sponsor screenings on Wednesday for children from 3-5 who have disabilities. Representatives from First Steps will also be on hand to screen disabled children aged 0-3.

The screening will take place at the Old National Trail central office, located in the Area 30 building.
