Terry L. LaVullis

Mr. Terry LaVullis, 57, of Indianapolis, formerly of Cloverdale, passed away Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010 at Manor Care Health Center.

Born July 31, 1953 in Indianapolis, he was the son of John G. and Lura (Dunbar) LaVullis. He was a 1970 graduate of Cloverdale High School.

Mr. LaVullis had retired from the United States Army, having served for 22 years. He then worked 16 years at the Putnamville and Plainfield correctional facilities. He was a member of A.B.A.T.E. motorcycle organization and the Cloverdale Conservation Club.

Survivors include his mother Lura Coulter of Greencastle; brother John LaVullis and wife Karen of Paoli; and sister Shirley White and husband James of Greencastle.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Staggers officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday.
