Edith 'Virginia' Hanneman Holeyfield

Edith "Virginia" Hanneman Holeyfield, 97, Chesterfield, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010 at Millers Merry Manor in Chesterfield.

She was born Feb. 13, 1913 in Greencastle.

Virginia worked at Simplicity Patterns in Terre Haute and previously owned a hotel in Albuquerque, N.M. She was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints where she was very involved.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Roundtree of Chesterfield; grandchildren Cathy Dunn (Daniel), Karen Seddon (Paul), Linda Clark, William Roundtree Jr. (Shearldine), Janet Roundtree, James Roundtree (Sue), Sharon Spratt (Kenneth) and Robert Roundtree (Pam); and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her spouses Joseph H. Barnett in 1932 and Joseph H. Holeyfield in 1995; parents Otto and Chloretta Killimid Hanneman; brother Jack Hanneman; and son-in-law William Roundtree Sr.

The family wishes to thank the staff and Miller's Merry Manner Chesterfield for all their kindness and loving care.

There will be no visitation. Cremation will take place.
