Vonda Juanita Wood

Vonda Juanita Wood, 83, of Reelsville, passed away on Monday, Oct. 11, 2010.

She was born on April 28, 1927 in Tompkinsville, Ky. to James and Grace (Spradlin) Jones.

Surviving are her sons Dwight W. Wood and wife Janet of Reelsville and Kevin L. Wood and wife Robin of Lebanon; brother Russell Jones and wife Patsy of Lynchburg, Ky.; sister Magaline HoopsHeusel of Greencastle; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Claude W. Wood; siblings, Thelma, Wilby "Buck," Louetta, Evelyn, Beulah, Maurice and Paul.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Fulp officiating.

Burial will follow at Washington Park East, Indianapolis.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
