Rebecca Ann Mishler Heeke

Mrs. Rebecca Ann "Becky" Mishler Heeke, 59, of Greencastle, passed away Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010 at her residence.

Born Dec. 1, 1950 in Tell City, she was the daughter of Lloyd "Porky" & Mary (Quinlin) Knieriem.

A 1968 graduate of Brazil High School and Ivy Tech's nursing program, she received her LPN degree and worked in the Putnam County area. She married Joe Heeke on Dec. 24, 1995, and he survives.

Survivors include her husband; mother, Mary Knieriem of Cloverdale; sons, Ryan Mishler and wife April of Staunton, Bryan Mishler and wife Amanda of Camby, and Tommy Mishler of Terre Haute; a daughter, Miranda Whitted and husband, Dan of Brazil; brother, Bob Knieriem of Brazil; seven grandchildren, Zack Mishler, Haley Mishler, Morgan Johnson, Riley Johnson, Madison Whitted, Luke Mishler and Beau Mishler.

She was preceded in death by her father and Aunt Sharon.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Putnamville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19.
