Sharon L. Cole

Sharon L. Cole, 63 of Reelsville, passed away Oct. 14, 2010 at Asbury Towers in Greencastle.

She had been battling cancer for the past year.

She was born April 27, 1947 in Marion County the daughter of Laverne Parker and Maxine Bunton Parker.

She most recently had worked as a courier for Cinergy/Duke Energy until her health issues were a problem. In the past she had worked as the manager at the Greencastle Elks Lodge No. 1077. Sharon has been the center of her family and a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Lee Ferriell Cole of Reelsville; her children, Scott F. Cole and wife Lisa of Reelsville, Jerry Sanders Jr. and Keith Sanders both of Mississippi and Angela Sanders of Reelsville; several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Debbie Lynn Parker of Plainfield; two brothers, Steve Parker and wife Debbie Jo of Evansville, and Bill Parker of Indianapolis; nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National in Brazil. Cremation will follow with the ashes buried at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Croy's Creek Cemetery with Pastor Steve Williams officiating.
