Marjorie DeRaimo

Marjorie DeRaimo, 89, Quincy, passed away on Dec. 6, 2010 at her residence. She was born on March 3, 1921 in Boone County, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Hubert and Mary Josephine [Petry] Ferrell.

She was married to Charles DeRaimo on Feb. 17, 1940 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 1980. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Deaton, Quincy and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will also be held on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, West Virginia with Rev. David Wall officiating. Interment will be in the Montgomery Memorial Park, London, West Virginia.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Herbert Ferrell, Dennis Ferrell, Bernard Ferrell and her son-in-law, Dence "Bill" Deaton.
