Tiger Cubs score two wins against Mounties Tuesday

NEW MARKET -- The Greencastle eighth grade A and B-teams won a pair of games against Southmont Tuesday on the road. The A-team won 32-16 and the B-team won 36-10.

In the A-game, Callan Taylor and Taylor Stoltey led the way with eight points each, with Delanie Stoltey chipping in seven. Sydney Smiley had three, while Sydney Stuchwisch, Sydney Secrest and Jessica Lenihan all had two each.

In B-team action, Lauren Bridgewater scored 16 points for GMS, followed by Brittany Welker and Sammy Newcomer with six each. Kaitlin Alexander had four for the Tiger Cubs, with Tera Amis adding three and Breanna Ferrand adding one point.

Both teams will be back in action Tuesday at Northridge at 6 p.m.
