Rock 'n' Roll

The guitar player of the band "Barry Gibbs in Quotations" finishes up a solo during Led Zeppelin's "The Immigrant Song." The band, as well as several others, played at the Fluttering Duck on Wednesday night as part of their final exam in a DePauw University winter term course called "The Rock 'n' Roll Experience." Taught by Rich Martoglio, also an assistant professor of chemistry and biochemistry and director of the Quantitative Reasoning Center, the class focused on the history of rock and roll as well as actual performances. Every student in the class was required to perform in one of the bands during their live performance, and each band was required to play an original song along with a cover song.
