Carol L. Benassi

Carol L. Benassi, 49, Fillmore, passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011.

She was born in Putnam County on Feb. 21, 1961. She had worked as a CNA at the Waters of Greencastle for 22 years.

Survivors include her husband David Benassi; daughter Crystal (Tom) Whaley of Greencastle; son Jeremy Benassi of Greencastle; eight grandchildren; father Larry Nauman of Greencastle; mother Madelyn Alexander Nauman of Fillmore; brothers Rick Nauman of Coatesville, Greg Nauman of Fillmore; Larry Nauman of Avon; Billy Nauman of Fillmore; Jimmy Nauman of Coatesville and Mike Nauman of California; and sisters Vicki Lytle of Bainbridge; Julia Socia of Fillmore and Debbee Short of Kentucky.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Hays Funeral Home in Coatesville with the Rev. Alan Small officiating. Burial will be in Fillmore Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to time of service.
