Evening at the Elms slated

GREENCASTLE -- The Putnam County Museum invites local residents for an evening of art and entertainment at the Elms, home of DePauw University President Brian W. Casey, on Feb. 26 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The event will feature the museum's upcoming "Through the Lens" exhibit, as well as a silent auction of select works of art including framed photos from the museum's collection, photographs by Laurie Hardwick, pottery by Richard Burkett, and pieces by DePauw University studio art students Jessica Adams and Rita Klofta.

Guests will enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres while celebrating Putnam County's art culture and listening to jazz duo Veronica Pejril and Bill Hamm.

Valet parking will be provided.

All proceeds will benefit the museum.
