Frank J. Ban, 99, Danville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011.

Mr. Ban was a machinist for PR Mallory Inc., retiring after 40 years.

He was a member of Mary Queen of Peace church in Danville and an avid fly fisherman who tied his own flies.

He is survived by his wife Velta L. Sutton Ban; three sons, Gerald (Maggie) Ban, John (Linda) Ban and Joe (Beth) Ban; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family extends a special thanks to good neighbors Kevin and Ann Tussey for the kindness shown.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mary Queen of Peace. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Conkle Funeral Home in Avon.
