Donors made festival a success

To the Editor:

The Deer Meadow PTO would like to thank the following helpers and sponsors of the Deer Meadow Winter Festival on Feb. 11.

The festival was a great success thanks to the generosity of the community. A big thank you to the very impressive groups that worked the games the entire evening -- GHS Ambassadors, Greencastle Christian Church One80 Group, South Putnam High School Ambassadors, 4-H Junior Leaders and DePauw Football Seniors -- and to the creative talents of the DePauw art students and Jim Hardwick.

Special thanks to McDonald's, Marvin's and Kroger for their assistance with the dining arrangements.

Additionally, PTO greatly appreciated the help of the Greencastle Police Department and Chaplains, who drew raffle winners throughout the evening, and the Putnam County Sheriff's Department for donning their uniforms and making the jail game a very fun activity for the kids.
