Allison Taylor, DePauw student, looks at the various works of art on display during the Student Arts Council's Arts Gala on Thursday in the lobby of the Green Center for the Performing Arts. The event also featured music performances from Ron Dye, Jack Daddy Sunrise, poetry readings, dances, acoustic performances and many other forms of entertainment, as well as snacks and drinks. The Student Arts Council displayed local art from DePauw students. The council is a student organization that looks to promote all kinds of art in film, writing, painting, sculpture, poetry and performances.
