Wednesday, April 27, 2011
Yves-Marie Toussaint of MECCA performs the Lepe 'Ula 'Ula, a Hawaiian dance that tells the story of a cowboy that uses a lasso to tie up the hearts of women. Toussaint was the Hawaiian King and one of many performers at Hawaiifest Sunday afternoon. Hosted by the Hawaii Club, the event celebrates "May Day," which celebrates the coming of spring.
