Tiger Cubs defeat Bruins

The Greencastle boys' golf team earned a 155-179 win over Tri-West Tuesday on the road.

Brad Haussin led the way with a 36 for Greencastle, with Jim Wheeler adding a 39 and Ray Stinson, Tyler Hopkins and Derik Thomas adding scores of 40. Alec Davis and Luke Brotherton shot 41, Tanner Dean a 42 and Joe Kaiser a 53.

"Very solid scoring on a windy day," GHS head coach Steve Paquin said. "All eight were very consistent; led by Brad's even par 36. The team continues to improve, but still needs to adjust to the different course conditions such as slow or fast greens and dry and wet fairways, to windy conditions. They are working hard to make these adjustments."
