Kendra Michele Nuckols

Kendra Michele Nuckols, 26, Brazil, passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove on Friday, April 29, 2011 following a brief illness.

She was born July 30, 1984, in Putnam County and is the daughter of George Michael and Kennetta (Lyon) Nuckols.

Kendra attended Northview High School. She had worked at Dollar General and Metal Industries. Most recently Kendra had been working as a Certified Nurses Assistant at the Exceptional Living Center of Brazil.

Kendra was a member of the VFW Post 1127 and American Legion Post 2 Ladies Auxiliary.

Kendra enjoyed playing bingo, talking with friends and family and shopping.

Kendra was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, George and Norma Nuckols and her maternal grandmother Damita Lyon.

She leaves behind her daughter Kambree Nuckols; parents, Michael and Kennetta Nuckols; brother Michael Nuckols; boyfriend Andrew Suttle; grandfather Kenneth Lyon as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members and friends.

Services will be at French Funeral Home, Brazil, Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Croy's Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
