Putnam County Hospital brings HDTV to surgery

Putnam County Hospital recently purchased ConMed Linvatec high definition 1080p video technology for all endoscopic procedures.

This high definition technology truly defines all anatomy structures and significantly improves patient results and outcomes with the increased ability to view the internal parts of the human body.

This new video technology includes 26-inch High Definition flat screen LCD monitors for the surgeon's internal visualization of the human body. With 1080 lines of high definition resolution and detailed color, Putnam County Hospital now offers the state of the art technology and gold standard for patient care.

The high definition technology will be utilized by general, gynecological and orthopaedic surgeons.

Patients will also be able to view high definition pictures, with their surgeon, of their surgery from a high definition printer.
