Jewel Smithers of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011.

She is survived by two sons, Berkley (Karen) and Tom; one daughter, Beverly; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
